New Westminster City Council
Queensborough is part of the City of New Westminster, and while council members are elected at-large (meaning they represent the entire city rather than specific neighbourhoods), there are often councillors who live in or have strong ties to Queensborough.
City Councillors are responsible for:

In the October 19, 2024, provincial election, Steve Kooner, a member of the BC Conservative Party, was elected MLA for the Richmond‑Queensborough riding, succeeding incumbent NDP MLA Aman Singh. Mr. Kooner is a lawyer by training and currently serves as his party’s Shadow Attorney General
Mr. Kooner represents you at the provincial level in BC. You can contact him about issues such as healthcare access, education concerns, housing and renters' rights, healthcare concerns, ICBC and road safety, BC Hydro and utility matters, environmental policies, and local infrastructure projects funded by the province.

Federal Representative - Member of Parliament (MP)
MP Jake Sawatzky

In the April 28, 2025 federal election, Jake Sawatzky of the Liberal Party was elected MP for the newly named riding New Westminster–Burnaby–Maillardville, succeeding longtime NDP MP Peter Julian
Mr. Sawatzky represents you at the federal level in Ottawa.
