Queensborough Children's Festival - Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. We welcome everyone of all ages to partake in this free event
The annual Queensborough Children’s Festival is a fun-filled afternoon for all kids of all ages (kid at heart). The festival will feature free activities and entertainment, arts and crafts, lawn games, martial arts workshop, and singing performance. Event will occur rain or shine.

Marnie Grey is a Vancouver based Children’s Musician, Entertainer, Music Teacher, and Early Childhood Educator. Her Children’s Music Classes & Children’s Concerts have received high acclaim across Canada, especially with Vancouver Families. Marnie has received numerous Awards for Best Children’s Band, Best Children’s Performer, Best Children’s Music Classes and for her Children’s CD’s.
We welcome the magical and funny Merlin the Magician! An amazing blend of Magic, Silliness & FUN that you will never forget! Meet his side-kick Smog, a talking baby dragon! ...Don't worry, he hasn't learned to breath fire yet!
Be amazed by the students of 4 Elements Martial Arts Studio in Queensborough. Every year they kick off the afternoon with some amazing displays of taekwondo.
Shaolin Kung Fu will be their first year performing at the event. They will be on stage with traditional Chinese instrumentals, showcasing their Kung Fu skills! Can't miss out on these two performances.

We are an eco-friendly event. There will be limited parking available in the neighbourhood so if you intend to drive, please come early to secure a parking spot. We recommend walking, scootering, biking, public transit, and if possible - the Q2Q Ferry!

By Bus from 22nd Ave
Take either the 104 Annacis Island or 410 Brighouse Station bus from Bay 7 at 22nd Street SkyTrain Station.
Get off at Ewen Avenue at Howes Street (WB Ewen Ave @ Howes) — it's just a short walk from there to the Queensborough Community Centre, located at 920 Ewen Avenue.
Buses typically run every 15–30 minutes. Check TransLink for the latest schedules.

From there, follow the bus directions above: board the 104 or 410 from Bay 7, and get off at Ewen Ave @ Howes Street.
By Q2Q Ferry
Enjoy a scenic ride aboard the Q2Q Ferry, connecting downtown New Westminster to Queensborough.
Board the ferry from the New Westminster Quay (Waterfront Esplanade dock) and disembark at the Queensborough Komagata Maru Dock.
From the dock, it’s about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride to the Community Centre. Head west along the greenway on South Dyke Road, then turn right onto Howes Street and follow it north until you reach Ewen Avenue. The Centre will be just up the street on your right.
