The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the greatest challenges faced by Queensborough residents.  As an organization advocating for the social and cultural enrichment of our community, the health and safety of our neighbours is the most significant priority of our organization at this time.

As a result, it is with regret that we announce the full cancellation of our 2020 Spring and Summer schedule.  These cancellations include the following events and concert series:

• 2nd Annual Queensborough Community Garage Sale, in partnership with the QRA (was May 30)
• Queensborough Children's Festival (was June 20)
• Summer Sounds Concert series (was July 10, 24, August 7, 21 & 28)
• Queensborough Festival (was scheduled for September 12)

As the Summer season progresses, we will work in concert with the Parks & Recreation team at the Queensborough Community Centre to consider activities in the Fall that  can accommodate physical distancing protocols required by the City of New Westminster, Fraser Health and BC Provincial Health Authority.  Please stay tuned to this websites for scheduling updates for the latter part of 2020.

In the meantime, we remind all residents of Queensborough to look after one and other, to continue your great work of maintaining safe physical distancing and to reach out if you need social or mental health assistance.  We will get through this together.
